Welcome to the Communication Technology at Jean Vanier Catholic Secondary School Website and Online Portfolio.
In 2000, the Communication Technology Program at Jean Vanier C.S.S started with 60 students. Since then, Communication Technology has grown to over 250 students a year and has become the largest optional course in the school.
Many of Jean Vanier’s graduates who took Communication Technology have gone on to various post secondary institutions, some on scholarships in the New Media Field. Over the past few years, Communication Technology students have become extremely successful in various local, provincial and national competitions. Each year, students build upon the successes of their predecessors. Many of the award winning pieces can be seen at our Biannual Festival of Sight and Sound, our Annual Open House and on the web site, under Portfolio.
